ATRA (the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association) is the only non-profit trade association with the specific mission of training professionals in our industry. Gary Jennings and Rick Bennington just returned from their convention and trade show held at The Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas. They attended four days of seminars and scoured the trade show floor for the latest tools, equipment and parts to help insure Jim Jennings Transmissions stays on the "leading edge" of technology. In order to be the best, we constantly have to be the best trained, the best equipped and use the best parts. The show was fantastic and next year will be in Washington, DC.
Our family would like all our friends and loyal customers to know that our dad, Jim Jennings, passed away on February 23, 2012. Dad had been suffering from alzheimer's disease for the past six years. He passed away at home and his life was celebrated at the Brudzinki Funeral Home on February 25th with all his friends. We think dad will be proud that his sons, Gary and Bill, and his grandson Jared, will continue to take wonderful care of all our customers just as has been done for the last 54 years.

Governor Robert Ehrlich spent the morning talking to area business people on subjects pertaining to how to make Maryland more business friendly. He also talked about the possibility of the current administration adding sales tax to labor which would increase the cost of auto repairs since it is now only applied to parts.
Before the Governor spoke, he took a tour of our repair center and chatted with each member of our staff. He was met with a very warm reception from our staff as well as many other repair shop owners who came to hear his views on "how to make Maryland more business friendly"
